Apocalypse in East Anglia

Sunday 17th September 2017

In 2017, The Zombie Evacuation Race brings you the "Apocalypse in East Anglia". A BRAND NEW venue has been overun by the zombie contagion and the course has been riddled by 100's of Zombies - after a rogue Zombie made its way to the venue un-captured by the RAZOR Squad in 2016. The Zombie set about infecting the inhabitants of Hockwold and nearby villages. There have been reports that the vast woodland at the venue has been over-run, with zombies leaping out and feasting on unsuspecting passers by. Further reports show a hoard of neon toxic zombies living in a part of the hall itself. There is news developing that there is a group of RAZORs gathering nearby, ready to take evacuees to the safe zone, with a date being set for Sunday 17th September 2017. If you believe you have what it takes to outrun the Zombie hoards, dodge the undead and save Hockwold Hall, then sign up now.

Travel information to Hockwold Hall

By Road:

Hockwold Hall is ideally located, between Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire. If travelling by road, we recommend carsharing wherever possible.

FROM THE NORTH (Norwich) - When you reach the roundabout junction of the A11 and A134, follow the A134 towards Mundford (following signs towards Grimes Graves). When you reach Lynford, take a left - passing Grimes Graves on your left hand side. At the end of the road, take a left - and then your first right to head towards Weeting. When you reach Weeting, pickup the signs for Hockwold-cum-Wilton - and when you reach Hockwold, continue through the village on Main Street, and when you reach the junction with Station Road, Hockwold Hall is directly ahead of you. Pickup the signs for car parking, which is located on Burdock Lane, after turning right out of Main St, and then your first left.

FROM THE SOUTH (Cambridge)

Travel on the A11 until you reach the Barton Mills Roundabout interchange. Take the 2nd exit, onto the A1065 - and continue heading north toward Brandon. Before reaching Brandon, pickup the B1112, so you pass east of RAF Lakenheath, through Eriswell and then Lakenheath. Continue to follow the B1112, which progresses onto Station Road, and you will reach Hockwold Hall on your left hand side after 4 miles. Pass Hockwold Hall, and take a left into Burdock Lane after arriving in Hockwold.

Arriving by train? Hockwold Hall is best reached by arriving into Brandon on the Norwich-Cambridge line. Hockwold Hall is then a ten minute taxi ride away.
